Role Overview: You will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the site, ensuring the continued upkeep of the building's interior and exterior features. This includes everything from minor repairs and general decorating to supporting office moves and collaborating with the wider maintenance team.

Key Duties Include:

  • General fabric maintenance (doors, locks, furniture repairs, blinds, etc.)
  • Painting, decorating, and minor carpentry
  • Replacing floor and ceiling tiles (carpet, ceramic, suspended)
  • Assisting with office moves and layout changes
  • Supporting other engineers with maintenance duties as required
  • Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard while maintaining safety and compliance

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Plastering, Bricklaying, Tiling, Painting & Decorating
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Solid understanding of general fabric-related duties (including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
