RiverWoods Manchester is currently looking for a Senior Living Sales Manager to join our team full time within our sales and marketing team. The Sales Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day management of the sales team, supervising and adjusting the sales process to ensure successful sales outcomes; completing sales per the annual sales goals; fostering relationships and community with future residents and prospects; fostering working relationships with the operational team; and collaborating with peers across the family of communities. Responsibilities:
- Initiate and complete phone contacts (conversations), appointments, and seminars, presentations, with prospects daily and monthly.
- Interact with all leads whether provided through advertising, public relations, referral, or personal contact and turn those leads into residents of the community through the use of professional selling skills.
- Make group presentations to prospects and civic groups as requested by the Executive Director.
- Greet any prospects pleasantly and professionally, either on the telephone or in person, presenting a positive image for the community.
- Act professionally and honestly at all times in the representation of the Community concept of senior living.
- Know the various types of floor plans, the basic features of each plan and the daily availability of units as reported in the inventory reports.
- Work with prospects until the payment of entrance fee or a clear statement of lack of interest.
- Effectively manage all leads utilizing the lead management system.
- Actively, and on a timely basis, complete all required sales reports and call sheets.
- Skillfully interview prospects or their representatives to ascertain how the community will meet their needs.
- Be familiar with the common objections raised by prospects and how to overcome them.
- Follow established procedures in completing all applications and contracts for residency.
- Prepare all contract forms accurately, completely and thoroughly.
- Utilize existing resident, depositor and lead contacts to generate additional leads by prospecting for referrals.
- Provide quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork while meeting the needs of residents, staff and visitors.
Qualifications:
- WORK SCHEDULE: Generally, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and as needed for special events and for evening and weekend appointments with prospects.
- EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent and continued education in sales or marketing; Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations/Communications or related field.
- EXPERIENCE: Five to seven years’ experience in marketing/sales in senior living setting or equivalent industry with supervisory experience. Marketing or consulting experience a plus. Previous management experience desired.
