Self Employed Part-Time / Home-Based Accountant or Bookkeeper β Delve Accounting Group Ltd
Β£18-20/hour β approx. 6β8 hours per month
Fully remote / UK hours
Delve Accounting Group owns 5 small accounting practices and handles all bookkeeping and accounts in-house. Weβre looking for a reliable, down-to-earth bookkeeper or accountant confident working independently to help us stay on top of things across the group without overcomplicating the process.
This role is low-volume but important β we focus on solid, consistent work done efficiently each month, not perfection or corporate-style reporting.
The Work:
- Basic bookkeeping for 5 entities + the group company (using Xero)
- Processing invoices with Hubdoc
- Monthly bank reconciliations (including GoCardless payments)
- Posting simple journals (dividends, prepayments, accruals)
- Intercompany entries and reconciliations
- Quarterly VAT returns (cash/accrual depending on the company)
- Year-end accounts for each company
- Director tax returns (3 straightforward filings)
What Weβre Looking For:
- AAT / QBE qualification β confident working solo and double-checking your work
- Experience with small businesses or small groups
- Comfort with intercompany bookkeeping quirks
- Ability to explain things simply when needed
- Reliable, responsive, and able to keep things straightforward
