We’re looking for a dynamic leader with deep experience across H&PS sectors, particularly in managing large, complex bids in health, government, and related fields. You will play a key role in shaping the success of the H&PS Client Group, working collaboratively to deliver high-impact solutions that meet both short-term objectives and long-term ambitions.
What responsibilities will you have?
- Shape and execute the sales strategy for Accenture Technology within the H&PS Client Group, targeting health services, public sector, and government industries.
- Achieve individual sales targets and support global goals by driving new business development and growing existing accounts, managing the pipeline, and ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
- Identify and capture new opportunities, using sales expertise to shape high-value deals. Oversee the entire deal cycle from qualification to negotiation and closing, ensuring they meet client needs and Accenture’s objectives.
- Lead large, complex bids in H&PS, often over $10m, engaging with C-suite leaders in health and public sector organizations to secure significant deals, acting as the lead for both single- and multi-service opportunities.
- Develop effective sales strategies, managing deal creation, value propositions, deal processes, and closures, with a focus on H&PS procurement requirements. Shape strategies to ensure deals are competitive, deliverable, and profitable.
- Lead negotiations for complex deals, developing win and close plans, coaching deal teams, and bringing in the right talent for successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with Account Management teams to enhance client relationships, drive innovation, and provide exceptional service across health and public sector industries.
- Create compelling deal visions through storytelling and deep client engagement, supporting strategy development and managing deals through the sales cycle, including team and work plan management.
- Work with Accenture leadership to navigate deals through approvals, ensuring they align with company goals and client needs.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Leading sales experience, particularly within Health & Public Services (H&PS).
- Be familiar with the different government frameworks that clients can procure on, such as G-Cloud, DIPS, DALAS, TS3 etc and have a strong understanding of how public sector bids are marked against the scoring criteria, ie Quality, Price, Social Value etc.
- Extensive Experience in developing H&PS sales strategies for accounts & tuned in with Industry trends.
- Experience in identifying opportunities & engaging with clients to tailor H&PS solutions using a consultative selling approach.
- Strong network across the H&PS industry aswell as connected into the relevant Public Sector trade bodies.
- Originating sales and relationships with C-suite clients, both at established and emerging clients.
- Working with Account H&PS SMEs and Industry Leads to develop curated propositions and campaigns.
- Facilitating the negotiations and closing activities. Manage successful transition of the opportunity to the delivery team.
