Multi Skilled Engineer

Connect Appointments has a new opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer (ideally with an electrical bias) to undertake work with our Polmont-based client. This role is primarily electrical-focused as opposed to mechanical. Schedule: Rotating between day shifts and back shifts, 5 days per week Pay rate: £17.09 to £18.16 per hour + shift allowance Working as a Multi Skilled Engineer your duties will include various types of maintenance and installation work as required. The primary role will be preventative maintenance on various pieces of refuse recycling machinery and equipment, as well as responding to emergency machine breakdowns throughout the plant. You will also be responsible for: Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools Responding to day-to-day maintenance requests Providing assistance in projects Finding and fixing faults within the facility Carrying out planned maintenance checksTo be successful within this Multi Skilled Engineer position you will ideally have experience in a similar factory environment – while possession of an 18th Edition is preferable, our client can put the right candidate through the qualification. Other skills and traits that would be beneficial include: Knowledge of electrical, control or plant engineering The ability to quickly and accurately conduct fault-finding activities A valid driving licence (essential) Able to understand both written and verbal instructionsInterested?
