Locum Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer – 3 months +

Predominantly Remote Working – Full or Part Time – Up to Β£60 per hour

Organisation: Home Counties based Local Authority

Duration: 3 months + (with the likelihood of extension thereafter)

Working Pattern: Full or Part time hours can be considered

Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote working, occasional need for Court attendance may be required

Hourly Rate: Up to Β£60 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and can demonstrate knowledge of Adult Social Care matters.

Duties may include:

  • Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Adult Social Care Legislation, including, but not limited to, Court of Protection, Section 21a, Section 16 and Designation matters
  • Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives
  • To prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to all aspects of Adult Social Care matters
  • Represent the Council in court and may need to conduct advocacy when required
