Team And Role Overview
Our production team are vital to the operation. Production work to plan, pick, pack and move boxes quickly through the fulfilment centre. Our target is for customers to receive their orders 'On Time In Full' and with around 100 recipes to choose from every week, we're winning on choice too. As a team leader you will lead the team in day to day activities to deliver the production plan and be a second level of contact for escalations from the team and section leaders.
Core Responsibilities
- Work with and communicate shift targets in senior leadership meetings and daily huddles.
- Ensure that health and safety is given high priority and is considered in plans, actions and activities
- Help build, train and develop high performing teams, and define clear career progression opportunities, completing 1-1’s and regular feedback sessions.
- Complete initial employee relations meetings including return to works as required and first stage absence reviews
- Conduct safety checks on all equipment operated throughout the production process, as well as monitoring activities of workers during production
- Responsible for meeting quality assurance standards
- Maintaining regular communication with interrelated departments, such as technical and engineering, to plan and execute production goals efficiently
- Ensure worker scheduling and attendance records are up to date

- Previous experience of leading a team
- Excellent Organisational Skills
- Confident and Forward thinking team player
- Knowledge of warehouse fulfillment and the importance of targets in this environment
- A super-star team worker in order to ensure our customers receive their orders on time and in full!
- Excellent attention to detail, flexibility and problem solving
- High level of computer literacy, in particular google sheets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead team briefs
- Previous experience of dealing with employee relations including return to works and first stage absence reviews
Qualifications
- Food Safety Level 2
- HACCP advantageous but not essential
