NOC Engineer (SC Cleared) – £500 per day via Umbrella – 3-month contract – Manchester (Onsite) – SCC Flex Contract
We are looking for a Network Operations Engineer who will provide first and second line support to clients, resolving complex network and systems faults. Additionally, you\’ll implement customer service requests across a range of networking technologies, including WAN, PON and Firewalls.
Your responsibilities as the NOC Engineer:
- Provide first line and second line support to clients.
- Resolve complex network and systems faults.
- Implement customer service requests on a range of networking technologies, including WAN, PON, DWDM, Carrier Ethernet, and Firewalls.
- Monitor and maintain network performance.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to address and resolve network issues.
- Ensure network security and compliance with company policies.
- Document network issues and resolutions accurately.
As a successful NOC Engineer, you will have:
- Proven experience as a NOC Engineer or in a similar role.
- Active Security Clearance
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and remote access solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
