At TE Connectivity, our Manufacturing and Production teams play a critical role in transforming raw materials into high-quality finished goods. As a Production Lead on the 2nd Shift (4pm to 12pm), you will lead a team to ensure efficient production flow, adherence to quality standards, and continuous improvement in a safe, clean, and organized environment. You will be responsible for shift leadership, team development, performance management, and driving operational excellence aligned with TE Connectivity’s values and safety policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example, maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Monitor and ensure team adherence to quality standards and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Track and drive performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in quality, cost, and delivery.
- Collaborate with planning and support teams to resolve production, resource, or scheduling issues.
- Deliver clear, consistent communication through shift briefs and team meetings.
- Manage team performance through coaching, appraisals, and performance development plans.
- Champion and enforce safety protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
- Identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
- Oversee implementation of engineering changes, new product introductions, and production trials.
- Coordinate with maintenance for timely resolution of machinery and equipment issues.
- Promote Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to enhance equipment uptime.
- Lead problem-solving efforts to resolve customer concerns and eliminate root causes.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audits and quality standards.
