As part of our commitment to operational excellence, AXA Partners is seeking a Global Performance Analytics Manager to lead the monitoring and management of performance across our non-medical Operations & Networks activities. This role is crucial for measuring the efficiency of processes within transformation programs and ensuring data quality for OPEX KPIs. The Global Performance Analytics Manager will act as a business owner for OPEX performance metrics, driving data governance and fostering collaboration between central and local teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and Implement Performance KPIs: Establish performance measures (KPIs) and associated governance rules, ensuring their implementation in global reporting and standardized country reports.
  • Engage in Performance-related projects to ensure data aligns with departmental strategy and needs.
  • Contribute to overall data governance by providing expertise and support to the Data community.
  • Support OPEX Community: Develop reports and provide analytical insights to measure process efficiency using available data sources.
  • Produce monthly dashboards for performance and its impact on AXA Partners' profitability.
  • Express the reporting needs of the Ops community to the BI team and contribute to the definition of target industrial reports.
  • Propose improvements for measuring the performance of transformation programs and assist in achieving program objectives.
  • Collaboration with Data Teams: Work with central BI and Data teams to support new industrialization initiatives and ensure alignment with their strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with local teams to enhance their BI solutions for measuring performance.
  • Promote a data-driven culture within the Ops community.
  • Performance Analysis and Management: Conduct thorough analyses of productivity and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and manage the productivity of teams, ensuring effective resource utilization.
  • Support and drive or co-drive key strategic initiatives ensuring these initiatives deliver measurable financial and operational benefits.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Governance: Engage in performance dialogues with country-level teams, ensuring alignment with global objectives and proactively addressing performance gaps.
  • Transverse Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including local Ops, Transfo, NGCC, AVP and IT, to align multichannel strategies with overall business objectives and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of governance structures: Facilitate effective performance management and accountability across the organization.
  • Assist in the financial modeling and ongoing monitoring of global operations platforms, including hub performance and ROI analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Provide expertise in managing financial mechanisms related to global hubs, such as pricing, transfer pricing, and unit costing.

What you’ll bring:

  • The position of Global Performance Analytics Manager requires knowledge and mastery of the fundamentals of Operations Steering & Performance, some background in quantitative matters as well as some strong capacity to explain and influence with pedagogy the variety of stakeholders.
  • The role therefore requires in-depth project skills to effectively carry out complex projects (multi-country, multi-actors, with different maturities).
  • Technical/Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Strong expertise in data analysis, with a deep understanding of statistical methods, data visualization, and analytics software (e.g., R, Python, Tableau, Power BI). Experience with large datasets and complex data environments is essential.
  • Operational Performance Management: Proven experience in performance management or a related field, ideally within a global or matrixed organization. A strong understanding of operational KPIs and performance improvement methodologies is required.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to contribute to strategic initiatives and long-term planning, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, financial modeling, and performance monitoring.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure and articulate complex data-driven insights to various audiences. The position requires a high degree of pedagogy.
  • Interpersonal Skills: High level of business acumen, resilience, and adaptability. Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Potential: Demonstrated potential for leadership roles, with a proactive approach to career development and growth.
  • Proven experience in project management: Skills to structure, lead and manage complex projects to achieve operational objectives, specifically in the areas of workforce management and multichannel operations.
  • Consulting/audit skills for structuring, projecting a strategic approach and deploy in several countries.
  • Intercultural and cross-functional mindset: Skill to collaborate with teams and stakeholders across different regions and functions in an international and multicultural environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in performance management, strategic consulting, data analysis, audit or a similar role, with a strong focus on data analysis. Experience in a global or matrixed organization is preferred.
  • Strong experience in managing complex projects.
  • Proven strong Operational background and results.
  • Skills: Advanced skills in data analysis and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with R/Python/SQL is preferred.
  • Strong conceptualization/formalization of complex ideas.
  • Interpersonal skills: Driven, Result-oriented and organized.
  • English mandatory, French / Spanish are a plus.
