Join our dynamic IT team at Chambers as a Manual Quality Assurance Tester, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, platforms, and applications. Additionally, you'll contribute to shaping our testing strategy and plans, driving continuous improvement in our processes. Using some of the most recent technologies, you will be required to define and execute automation and manual testing across Chambers products, platforms, and applications, ensuring they meet QA standards. Successful candidates will play a critical role in ensuring the successful migration and validation of data, as well as testing various Data lake pipelines and migration processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create test plans and test cases for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.
  • Work with members of multiple project teams through the entire agile development lifecycle to ensure the development of testable applications.
  • Assist in coordinating penetration tests as required.
  • Create test exit reports and recommendations for release.
  • Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products.
  • Define and execute end-to-end tests.
  • Work with the development team to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented.
  • Use QA tools to manage test cases, test results, and defects.
  • Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
  • Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
  • Automate tests where possible using industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team.
  • Understand the existing manual test cases and can quickly translate them into automated test cases.
Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrable professional SQA experience.
  • Proven experience in test automation using Selenium.
  • Development and management of function level test cases, regression test cases, and test plans according to feature requirements.
  • Passionate about cracking the software, finding defects, and ensuring software quality.
  • Experience working with Angular applications and Jest, Protractor framework.
  • Good SQL knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated, and very flexible.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology.
  • Prioritization skills to handle fast-paced dynamic environments.
