The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

We are recruiting for a Part Qualified Audit Senior to join the audit & accounts department of a successful accountancy practice, at its Banbury office. The role is predominantly audit although it will include statutory accounts preparation, as well as corporate and personal tax work. You will work on a varied client base across a range of industries including the not-for-profit sector.

Salary will be dependant upon experience and study stage, and the firm will offer the Part Qualified Audit Senior a comprehensive benefits package including:

As Part Qualified Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include:

  • Audit planning – identifying audit risks, setting materiality, and designing appropriate tests
  • Audit fieldwork – guiding and developing a team, taking ownership of decisions and conclusions through professional judgment, along with ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation in a clear and concise manner
  • File completion – concluding on key audit findings for the director’s review
  • Client relationships – developing strong relationships to deliver effective audits and accounts, ensuring a positive client experience
  • Maintaining regular and effective communication with managers and the team throughout the audit process
  • Managing budgets and keeping the manager informed
  • Prepare limited company accounts for review by Managers/Directors
  • Preparation of corporation tax computations for review
  • Preparation of personal tax returns

To be considered for this position you will satisfy the following:

  • Part-qualified ACA / ACCA with a minimum of 2 years’ audit experience within a UK practice environment
  • Previous experience of planning and completing audits
  • Self-driven, results orientated with a desire to learn and develop yourself
  • Interested in supporting trainees with their training and development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, ideally with a working knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH but must also be competent in both Word and Excel
  • UK driving licence and vehicle to travel to client premises
