You will be working within a modern and recently built manufacturing facility for a successful food manufacturer which produces an exceptional range of high quality, great-tasting food products. Using responsibly sourced ingredients, the company is proud of their reputation of truly understanding their customer and offering innovative, market-leading products.

The purpose of your role will be to help keep processes running smoothly. You’ll support new recipes in the kitchen, trials in the factory, and help keep product information organised.

Key tasks
  • Help chefs test new recipes in the kitchen, make up samples, and share what you observe during the process.
  • Support product trials in the factory by collecting samples, tracking progress, and keeping processes organised.
  • Share recipe samples with the wider team, gather their feedback, and help tweak the recipes to make them even better.
  • Stay on top of costing recipes, tracking nutrition, record keeping, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

The successful candidate shall have a degree in Food Science, Food Technology or similar. Hands-on experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing process environment would be an advantage. You’ve handled a complicated project before and understand what needs to be done for it to run smoothly.

The Graduate NPD Technician job (ref:8915) is paying £25,000 according to your experience. This is a 2–3-month short term position with the possibility of extension. The site is based in Milton Keynes and is commutable from Buckingham, Bletchley, Newport Pagnell, Leighton Buzzard, Bedford, Northampton, Luton and surrounding areas. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm (with some flexibility).
