The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The role is to support the CASS office, to implement and roll out enhanced CASS solutions to improve the CASS framework. The role will also assist in the global roll out of the same solutions to create a standardised global controls framework. Ruleguard, a third-party tool, will be central to the solution, which will be augmented with data from various other FNZ solutions (e.g., Enterprise Risk Management Tool).

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining and challenging the scope of a project.
  • Capturing & documenting business outcomes to create requirements, solution designs, and agreeing on Joint Target Operating Models.
  • Providing business transformation support and consultancy services.
  • Developing customer training programmes and facilitating knowledge transfer.
  • Managing Analyst & Developer handovers and support.
  • Defining business readiness processes and agreeing on Spadefoot verification.

CASS Consultancy

  • Providing CASS consultancy to stakeholders across the business.
  • Collaborating with the Head of CASS Oversight to ensure a strong CASS control environment across the business.
  • Offering CASS technical input into new business initiatives/propositions, including new business risk assessments and onboarding sign-offs.
  • Ensuring that CASS policies and procedures align with FNZ’s regulatory activities related to CASS.
  • Facilitating understanding of CASS regulatory developments among management and ensuring they are embedded into processes and controls.

Organisational Design

  • A dedicated & focused CASS team within the UK region providing CASS advice, knowledge, and setting CASS policy/standards.

Managing Relationships

  • Supporting and challenging key business stakeholders in implementing FNZ CASS management reporting, including developing relevant key risk indicators and responding to regulatory or internal changes.
  • Working with external and internal auditors during their CASS audits.
  • Collaborating closely with the Risk function to ensure CASS risk is adequately captured within the Global Risk & Control Framework.

Managing Process and Administration

  • Advising and providing guidance to senior management and employees on CASS regulatory issues and their impact on product/service development.
  • Evaluating the CASS regulatory risk exposure relating to new business activities.

Team Working

  • Sharing ideas to enhance cross-team learning and business development.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Supporting the team’s efforts to succeed.

This role is in scope for activities that have a direct impact on CASS processing within FNZ for FNZ and/or FNZ’s clients. This role requires remaining up to date with CASS developments and changes as communicated by FNZ.

Experience Required

  • Experience in Finance, IT, or project management is desirable but not essential.
  • Independent, self-directing, and delivery-focused working style.
  • Superior analytical thinking.
  • Intermediate computer skills are essential.
  • Excellent organisational, administration, and time management skills.
  • Good team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
