About our client
Our client, a leading global impact investment firm, is looking to add a lawyer to their growing in-house legal team. With an array of investments focusing on sustainable development, the firm invests in innovative businesses that are impact-driven.
What the job involves
- Assisting on all fund-related matters including structuring, fund establishment, fund documentation, set-up of ecosystem, and liaison with service providers.
- Corporate due diligence, including on-boarding, term sheets, NDA negotiation, and transaction oversight.
- Investment and deal support, interacting with regional legal teams across Asia, Africa, and the EU.
- Fund-related Employee Incentive Schemes, including oversight of new structure establishment, carried interest, and co-investment vehicles.
Who we are looking for
- Corporate/private equity experience within the impact/renewable investment space, either gained in-house or in private practice.
- Relevant secondment experience would be advantageous.
- A strong understanding of EU PE fund structures and deal terms.
- Luxembourg fund formation/structuring experience is beneficial.
- Knowledge of EU tax and sustainable finance disclosure is advantageous.
- A team player, can-do attitude with an adaptable mindset, and keen interest in the sustainable investment space.
- Competent in MS Office.
