Position: Technical Consultant
Location: Milton, United Kingdom (hybrid: 2 days in the office per week)
Role Overview: We are seeking a Technical Consultant with a well-established background in the renewable energy sector, particularly with engineering or technical experience in offshore and onshore wind sectors. This position is part of the Renewable Energy team within Business Investor Advisory, specialising in offshore wind and complex renewable portfolio transactions. The role will also oversee strategic renewable energy initiatives for key clients, including government agencies, development banks, utilities, and investors.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a preference for offshore and onshore wind experience.
- Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Aerospace, Physics, or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar, with infrastructure investment experience.
- Chartered engineer status or an equivalent qualification from a recognized professional institution.
- Experience in due diligence on renewable energy infrastructure assets, preferably offshore and onshore wind projects.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
