We are currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join a leading medical manufacturing company based in the Suffolk area. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for developing new products, improving existing designs, and leading the creation of key technical documents within the technical file.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilise 3D CAD Autodesk Inventor for design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Produce Bills of Materials (BOM) and assembly instructions.
- Create Verification and Validation (V&V) test plans and implement them.
- Contribute to Instructions for Use (IFU) and service manuals.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- A relevant degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proven industry experience in mechanical engineering, with knowledge of electronics/software.
- Practical experience with 3D CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor.
