Role: Senior HR Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document the requirements on major programmes, which involve scope changes to the core system (Workday).
- Support the Product teams and Project Managers in the continual prioritisation of the Demand Backlog created by programmes.
- Elicit requirements using meetings & workshops as appropriate.
- Participate in the development of business process definitions including eliciting current state processes and facilitating the definition of future state processes that are valid, traceable, and justifiable.
- Critically evaluate information gathered, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish between user requests and the underlying true needs.
- Interpret business needs to resolve process and technical solution issues and recommend business process, system, and integration change options to resolve.
- Document requirements in business & functional specifications and application configuration workbooks.
- Collaborate with Architecture and Engineering teams to discuss and agree solution options.
- Proactively make recommendations to the Product team & Programme on tactical and strategic opportunities which maximise business value.
- Participate in programme & sprint prioritisation meetings as a trusted advisor.
Qualifications:
- ~6+ yearsβ experience in HR / HR Technology Business Analysis
- ~Prior experience working with Workday HCM or an equivalent HR Platform
- ~Demonstrable proficiency in HR operational activities
- ~Knowledge of development lifecycle techniques such as Agile, Scrum etc.
- ~Experience with large global organisational change
- ~Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ~Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- ~Industry or functional expertise in Retail will be an added advantage.
