Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Oversee the sales and operations of delivered catering, events, and conferences across Harwell Campus venues
- Implement engaging and profitable public-facing events
- Identify sales growth opportunities and collaborate with the team to drive success
- Motivate and lead the team to achieve revenue targets and provide regular progress feedback
- Take a hands-on approach to food & beverage operations when required
- Attend weekly sales meetings to support, strategize, and inspire success
- Lead weekly function sheet meetings, addressing challenges and opportunities
- Bring a proactive, innovative approach to stay ahead of competitors
- Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and cost control to meet profit targets
- Analyze and report on P&L performance to the Contract Director monthly
Who You Are:
- 3+ years' experience in Conference & Events sales, operations, and revenue management
- Strong proposal writing and attention to detail
- Ambitious, proactive, and a natural networker
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving KPIs
- Experience with CRM systems & Microsoft 365
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident in venue tours, customer appointments, and proactive outreach
- A self-starter with initiative, drive, and decision-making confidence
