The Role
As a Jewellery Designer at Indigo Lune, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our founders, creating stunning, original designs that reflect our ethos: unique, elegant, and artistic. From sketching out ideas to developing prototypes, your creativity and expertise will be at the heart of what we do.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Creation
- Create original designs for rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and hand chains, all aligned with our aesthetic and current trends.
- Produce detailed sketches, technical drawings, and CAD designs.
- Select materials, gemstones, and metals in collaboration with suppliers.
- Oversee the prototype development process alongside artisans and production partners.
Collaborating with Founders
- Work closely with the founders to bring their vision to life, blending your own creativity and flair into the process.
- Present mood boards, design concepts, and samples, and incorporate feedback to refine ideas.
Trend Research & Innovation
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in jewellery design.
- Bring fresh, innovative ideas to keep Indigo Lune ahead of the curve.
Quality Control
- Ensure all designs meet our high standards by working closely with manufacturers.
- Oversee prototypes and final products, ensuring every detail is just right.
Occasional Support
- Assist with merchandising and product launches, including curating collections and packaging.
- Help out with logistics when needed to ensure a smooth process from design to delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a jewellery designer, with a portfolio showcasing your talent, particularly in fine or fashion jewellery.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Rhino, CAD, Matrix) and traditional hand-sketching.
- A strong understanding of materials, gemstones, and metal types, with great attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Experience creating technical drawings and managing the entire design process.
- Passion for the jewellery industry and a keen eye on trends and customer preferences.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners.
- A creative, driven, and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in 3D modelling and prototyping.
- Knowledge of production processes and packaging.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management.
