We believe every plate tells a story. So, we're searching for a Kitchen Manager/Head Chef with a palate for serving up truly memorable dishes. Behind the scenes, you'll ensure quality, maintain high standards and keep the kitchen running smoothly. By giving our menu the benefit of your expertise, you'll create some of our guests' most lasting memories.
Responsibilities:
- Directing daily kitchen activities with a focus on the breakfast operation
- Coaching and developing a team capable of catering to more than 100 people
- Encouraging and addressing guest feedback
- Helping our Food and Beverage revenue strategy
- Working closely with the finance team to forecast, plan and budget
- Supervise preparation and service of staff food for the staff canteen
- Own your kitchen, keep on top of supplies and equipment, and minimise waste
- Be cleaner than clean, meet or exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws
- Take on other ad-hoc duties when the whole team needs to pull together
Person Specification:
- Degree or certificate in culinary arts
- 5 years experience as a chef
- Must speak local language
- At least one year in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
