Looking for an experienced Software Tester who is looking to further expand their skills! You will be paid for training and get experience working with a leading professional services firm as a Software Tester.
To become a Revolent Software Tester you will have:
- Essential:
- Performance Testing Tools: Proficiency with JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools for simulating high loads on REST applications.
- Load / Stress Testing: Experience with managing Load and Stress testing on REST/web and standalone Java applications.
- Scripting Languages: Knowledge of Python, Groovy, or similar for test automation for managing Load test scripts as per demand.
- Test Data Management: Creating and managing bulk test data for performance scenarios.
- API Testing: Experience with REST/SOAP API and standalone Java API testing, Experience of Cucumber, Selenium automation tools.
- Java Programming: Strong Java skills for creating custom test frameworks and scripts.
- Monitoring & Analysis: Ability to use APPD, JConsole tools to identify bottlenecks.
- Database Knowledge: Knowledge of SQL, Understanding database performance and query optimization.
- Reporting & Visualization: Skills in creating dashboards and reports to communicate performance test results.
- CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Teamcity, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Security Testing: Basic understanding of security testing principles.
We will build upon your existing skills and provide you with 9 weeks of paid training to further your skills as a Software Tester. After training, you will become a Revolent Software Tester and will work with our clients as part of their teams for a minimum 2-year period. After this time, you may transfer to the client permanently or remain with Revolent, having gained the skills and the experience needed to kickstart your lucrative career.
As a Revolent Software Tester your day-to-day role would include working with stakeholders across the business, gathering business requirements and preparing documentation and solutions utilizing your knowledge of configuration and workflows.
