In this role, you will have the freedom to manage your own schedule, working from the office, site, or home. A typical week may include 1 day in the office, 2 days on-site, and 2 days working remotely. No micromanagement—just full independence and the support required to deliver successful projects.
The Client offers steady yearly growth having grown by 20% over the past 2 years and champions staff retention. As the Main Contractor, you'll report directly to the Client, managing Sub-Contractors on projects that typically range from £50k to £3m, with the majority falling between £1-2m.
Your initial projects will include:
- A £1.7m Decarbonisation Project in West London
- A £2.9m HVAC replacement for a Corporate HQ in Surrey
To excel in this role, you'll need experience working with corporate end-user clients, excellent communication skills, and strong commercial awareness. You'll also oversee procurement, address design challenges (in collaboration with designers/consultants), and manage project risks effectively.
