At TP Tutors, we are offering a fantastic opportunity to provide 1:1 English tuition to children in your local area, starting after Easter half term. This role is ideal for educators with experience supporting SEN students - whether as a teacher, teaching assistant, or tutor - who are passionate about making a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Planning and delivering engaging English sessions tailored to each learner's needs
- Working face-to-face with children who require additional support - including those with ASD, SEMH, or PMLD
- Tuition may take place at home, in care settings, or in community spaces such as libraries, arranged in collaboration with families
- Tracking student progress and setting achievable learning goals
- Motivating and inspiring students to build confidence and access their education
- Using effective behaviour strategies to maintain focus and engagement

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong background in teaching or tutoring English at KS2-KS4

Requirements:
All applicants will be required to undergo standard background checks and must hold a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - we can help with this).

- Competitive pay: £28+ per hour, depending on placement
