The role: Senior Android Engineer – Android/Kotlin/React (Virtual Reality)
The Offer:
- Salary: £90k to £109k (DOE) basic + benefits (PAYE, paid weekly, within IR35)
- Hybrid working – 3 days onsite at the offices in Central London
- This is a 6-month contract to start ASAP (max 4 weeks notice) with a strong possibility of extension
- You must be fully clear to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship/relocation
We are looking for developers with experience in user interfaces, infrastructure, and/or tools supporting applications on Android using the Android SDK.
What the Day-to-day will look like:
- Work closely with the product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for Android
- Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest Android programming techniques
- Develop innovative solutions in Virtual Reality
About you:
- At least 8 years plus in a relevant, senior role working with object-oriented software development
- Experience building Android applications in Kotlin (strong Java considered also) using Android SDK
- Experience with React Native is highly advantageous
- Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
- Demonstrated experience driving change within an organisation and leading complex technical projects
- Any Fintech, banking apps or streaming apps experience is highly advantageous
