Wood is recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Upstream business within our Operations team focusing on providing structural engineering support to the Client contract and execute work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, client and project standards. This position will be hired on a limited contractor basis for a period of 12 months, outside IR35. This position is based in our Head Office in Aberdeen with Hybrid working.
The Role
These positions will work in our Aberdeen Engineering hub where we are in significant growth mode. We have multidiscipline work across a variety of clients with scopes ranging from Repair orders, minor modifications to larger project work. Live and Forecast work covers all phases of project life cycle from front end concept studies, through Pre-FEED, FEED, EPCC and Decommissioning. We are leading the way with ongoing studies looking to electrify existing assets and have a growing portfolio of decarbonisation projects including flare gas recovery systems. We are looking for Structural Engineers to join our exceptional team and use your technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce engineering deliverables.
