They are seeking an experienced and results-driven Specification Sales Consultant to strengthen their presence in the South West, South Wales and West London region. You will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders—primarily architects, specifiers and main contractors — to drive specification and project opportunities for aluminium systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop project specifications with architects, designers and façade consultants within the region
- Promote product portfolio, including windows, doors, curtain walling and façade solutions
- Manage the full specification cycle—from early design consultation to securing product approval on live projects
- Collaborate with the commercial and technical teams to ensure specification conversion to orders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and building regulations
- Represent the company at industry events, CPDs, exhibitions, and networking forums
- Use CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and reporting activities
- Develop strong territory knowledge, ensuring optimal market coverage and customer engagement
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B specification sales, ideally within the construction or architectural products sector
- Knowledge of building envelope systems, aluminium façades, or related products is highly desirable
- Strong network of contacts among architectural practices, contractors, and developers in the region
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive and consultative approach to sales
- Ability to manage a territory independently, while collaborating with internal teams
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the region regularly
