We are looking for an experienced, passionate, hardworking individual to manage our Food and Beverage operation.
About the Cuillin Hills Hotel: The Cuillin Hills is a small, family run hotel situated in the heart of Portree, on the Isle of Skye. The Hotel is surrounded by 15 acres of private grounds all of which looks out to one of the most breath-taking views Scotland has to offer. The Isle of Skye is an incredibly popular holiday destination with people visiting from around the world. Our restaurant has an excellent reputation for a great atmosphere, friendly, accommodating team, delicious local food and of course, a spectacular view.

Responsibilities may include some of the following:
- Overseeing the daily food and beverage operation
- Manage shifts, rotas, team holidays
- Overseeing booking system, communicating with team and kitchen to ensure smooth running of the shift
- Updating epos system
- Achieving targets as set by senior management team
- Dealing with complaints
- Assisting with recruitment
- Creating a fun, hardworking environment for the team
- Regular departmental training and meetings
- Organising daily briefings with team
- Updating all menus across the hotel
- Regular pricing updates
- Stocktake, Inventory counts
- Ordering of drinks, inventory, glassware
- Performance reviews
- Engaging with suppliers and building relationships
- Implementing staff incentives
Skills/Qualities Required:
- Experience is essential, minimum 1 year in a similar role
