Are you a Furniture Consultant looking for a new opportunity? Our client is the UK's leading workplace design and fit-out company, actively recruiting a Furniture Consultant. The role requires a team player with experience in sales support, bid preparation, pricing, and customer service within the Commercial Interiors industry. The candidate should have an excellent eye for detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, busy environment, maintaining accuracy and composure under stress.

Job Details

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. Primarily office-based with potential for one day WFH depending on business needs, bids, and pitches.

Responsibilities

  • Creating quotations for projects.
  • Supporting product specifications.
  • Researching and sourcing solutions for projects.
  • Liaising with manufacturers on specifications and prices.
  • Working with sales clients to issue information and mock-up details upon request.
  • Collating fabric samples.
  • Double-checking order acknowledgments for accuracy.
  • Attending manufacturer showrooms and industry fairs.
  • Researching new manufacturers.
  • Supporting project leads and attending client meetings.
  • Participating in training on sustainability and circularity.
  • Executing project meetings and documentation independently.
  • Monitoring budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinating deliveries and site surveys.
  • Managing installation teams and overseeing their work.
  • Reporting on customer/dealer snagging and shortages.
  • Developing technical understanding of client products.

Requirements

  • Experience in the furniture industry.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to read CAD drawings.
  • Experience in project management.
