Sennen Education are proud to be supporting a Specialist School in recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Exams Officer and SEN Administrator to join their welcoming team! The school specialises in providing personalised education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
The Role
- Exam Management: Familiar with exam regulations, secure handling of exam papers, manage student registrations and address any issues during exams. Arrange the sharing of results and contribute to exam-related policy development.
- SEND Support: Support the SENDCO in keeping records, set up meetings, help with assessments, and prepare reports for EHCP reviews. Make sure students get the right support for exams and keep records up to date.
- Student Support: Help identify and assess students who may need extra support, manage referrals, and take part in reviews. Work with SLT to help new students settle in and assist with Ofsted inspections.
- General Support: Help with office tasks like providing additional information on admissions and supporting reception duties when necessary.
