We’re Tiro - a leading provider of science and technology apprenticeships. We’ve got big ambitions and are looking for a driven, creative, forward-thinking Talent Resourcer to join our team! As a Talent Resourcer, you’ll be helping to change the world through science and technology apprenticeships. With your obsession for spotting potential, you’ll seek out and find the most amazing talent in the market to become fearless apprentices, who have the potential to develop into long-term employees within businesses.
Not only will you be providing apprentices with information, advice and guidance to help them find their perfect role, you’ll be acting as a key advisor to Tiro's employers to ensure you place the right apprentices in the right roles to help businesses grow and succeed. At Tiro, we’ve been helping hungry apprentices join ambitious businesses since 2005. We believe great apprenticeships help everyone. There are remarkable apprentices out there just waiting to be found, and fantastic employment opportunities waiting to be filled. Our work is about more than just placing candidates; we’re helping to change the world—finding people working on COVID vaccines, developing new technologies to help humanity, and tackling big issues like climate change. We’re proud to be part of this movement and are looking for more like-minded people to join Team Tiro.
The Role
Gone are the days of passive recruitment—you’re expected to actively seek out candidates to fill apprenticeship vacancies, benefiting the wider science and technology community. You’ll craft innovative recruitment campaigns to attract potential apprentices and own the full-cycle recruitment process for your allocated vacancies. You’ll champion talent that may not tick all traditional boxes but has great potential to grow and develop.
About you
We’re looking for someone passionate about changing lives through apprenticeships. If making money is more important than making an impact, this isn’t the place for you. You should enjoy building relationships with stakeholders, ensuring a win:win for apprentices and employers alike. We value the right attitude and aptitude over a checklist of requirements—someone who knows their mind, isn’t afraid to voice opinions, works independently, and is excited about helping Britain’s best businesses grow. A genuine passion for science and technology is essential. You’ll be a self-starter thriving in a fast-paced environment, an excellent collaborator who enjoys working with others to succeed, and someone willing to give and receive feedback. You should be ready to take on challenges, make calculated risks, and challenge us to improve.
The Package
We love our people—apprentices brimming with potential, business leaders needing support, and our fantastic team. We pay fairly, support growth, and value work-life balance. You’ll be treated well, paid what you’re worth, supported in your development, and given opportunities to progress. We believe in giving people their first big break and enabling business growth. Our benefits include:
- Starting salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per year
- Dedicated Talent Resourcer commission scheme
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Flexible working hours
