We’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior VAT Compliance Analyst to join a leading global business. This role offers the chance to work within the International Indirect Tax Compliance team, focusing on VAT compliance across France, Italy, Spain, and Sweden. The position is based full-time in either Manchester or London, collaborating with colleagues across Europe.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting VAT, Intrastat, and ECSL filings for France, Italy, Spain, and Sweden
- Managing VAT registrations and compliance for various EMEA entities
- Supporting audits, analyzing data, and reconciling VAT accounts
- Collaborating with tech, finance, and tax teams to enhance automation and processes
- Owning your area of responsibility and contributing to a globally recognized compliance function
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in VAT advisory or compliance roles with fundamental VAT knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
- Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP)
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
- Collaborative, curious, and proactive in process improvements
Preferred Extras:
