An exciting opportunity has arisen within our state of the art Urology Centre for a permanent Band 5 Staff Nurse position. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual that would enjoy working in an exciting and challenging environment. You will help provide excellent, evidence-based care for all of our service users, whether they are attending for Brachytherapy or General Urology procedures in our theatre, a flexible cystoscopy or prostate biopsy in one of our treatment suites, or an Outpatient appointment in our consultation rooms.

Previous experience within a Urology environment would be an advantage, although opportunities for personal and professional development within the role are available. To act as a lead and mentor for staff; supporting them in their development. To run clinics, assist with urological procedures and treatments, effectively ensuring a productive outpatient environment. The role involves the management of quality, clinical care, and advocacy for the patient experience, effective management of resources and appropriate deployment of junior staff.
