Global Edge are working closely with a key client to source an experienced Quality Engineer for a long-term contract on a major Substation.
Key Details:
- Remote-based role with regular travel to London office (expenses not reimbursed for office travel)
- Site visit expenses reimbursed with prior approval
- Ideal candidates will be based near or within commuting distance to London
Responsibilities Include:
- Implement and manage Quality Management System in line with project Quality Plan
- Coordinate QA/QC resources (client & contractor side)
- Conduct audits, inspections, and manage NCRs
- Review and approve quality plans and ITPs
- Support continuous improvement, lessons learned, and root cause analysis
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience in QA/QC roles
- Degree in Engineering
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Awareness of welding, NDE, and coating inspection
