Location: Remote (with weekly travel to London)

Rate: £500/day | Outside IR35 | 10-hour days

Global Edge are working closely with a key client to source an experienced Quality Engineer for a long-term contract on a major Substation.

Key Details:

  • Remote-based role with regular travel to London office (expenses not reimbursed for office travel)
  • Site visit expenses reimbursed with prior approval
  • Ideal candidates will be based near or within commuting distance to London

Responsibilities Include:

  • Implement and manage Quality Management System in line with project Quality Plan
  • Coordinate QA/QC resources (client & contractor side)
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and manage NCRs
  • Review and approve quality plans and ITPs
  • Support continuous improvement, lessons learned, and root cause analysis

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in QA/QC roles
  • Degree in Engineering
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
  • Awareness of welding, NDE, and coating inspection
