The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide. ENGTEQ are looking for a dynamic individual to join our engineering team to act as focal point for our in-house integrity management database.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with inspection or integrity management databases and related processes. This includes tasks such as data entry, creating and modifying items within a database hierarchy, and preferably a solid understanding of inspection workflows. Candidates are likely to have previously held roles such as Technical Assistant, Administrator, or similar positions involving data management.
This role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday; overtime may be required.
Key Duties:- User support & client facing focal point
- Dealing with queries from office based and field personnel
- Setting up and administering user accounts
- Liaising between the Integrity team and the IT/Software developer
- Conduct training with new users
- Help develop user guides/FAQs
- Participate/lead demos with potential clients
- Organise and minute regular User forums to collate feedback and suggestions
- Testing new functionality and roll out of new functions or bug fixes
Candidates should possess the following:
- Dynamic and able to talk with a range of clients, internal users and field based personnel
- Organised and good at managing multiple tasks, and prioritising
- Problem solving and forthcoming with suggested solutions
- Experience with similar databases is essential
Candidates should live within commuting distance of CAN's Aberdeen Office and hold a full UK driving licence.
