Advanced Pharmacy Technician - Full Time

We Are Hiring Department: Pharmacy Schedule: 7 on 7 off, Monday-Sunday 9:30a-8:00p Hospital: UAB St Vincent\’s East Location: Trussville, AL What You Will Do Perform activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services, including medicine history, purchasing, inventory management, nuclear pharmacy, and Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) as a pharmacy technician. Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems. Prepare orders and maintain inventory for specialty pharmacy areas. Repackage bulk medications. Receive and store incoming supplies. Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals by providing necessary information. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacy Technician credential from the Alabama Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire or transfer date. Education: High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience, OR an Associate\’s or Technical degree, OR 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
