Location: Hybrid (UK-based, with regular travel to the North West)

Salary: Highly competitive, dependent on experience/PQE + performance bonus

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and developing a high-performing, Chambers-ranked Court of Protection team
• Overseeing technical quality, compliance, and service delivery
• Monitoring and improving departmental KPIs and financial performance
• Contributing to firm-wide leadership and strategic planning
• Driving innovation in a tech-enabled legal environment
• Managing a reduced caseload alongside leadership duties

What we’re looking for

• Significant Grade A experience in Court of Protection – Property & Affairs
• Proven experience managing or mentoring people (formal HoD role not essential)
• A natural leader: confident, commercially aware, supportive, and collaborative
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels
• Ambition to shape and grow a high-performing department
