Transport Manager Role The Deputy Transport Manager will oversee the day-to-day transport operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities include managing drivers and admin staff, coordinating schedules, maintaining compliance, and improving customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead operational staff, monitor performance, and implement strategies to optimise transport efficiency. Ensure legal and safety compliance. Handle scheduling, support investigations, and disciplinary procedures. Manage resources and supplier relationships. Analyse transport data and drive continuous improvement. Working Hours: Monday to Friday What We\’re Looking For Minimum 1 year experience in a transport management role. Strong understanding of logistics, fleet operations, and regulations. Proficient in transport systems and MS Office. Leadership skills to manage a team and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and high standards.
