McLaughlin & Harvey is one of the leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractors operating throughout the UK and Ireland. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Bid Writer/Submissions Manager to join the construction bid writing team in Mallusk. Responsibilities The Submissions Manager plays a vital role in driving the work winning function of McLaughlin & Harvey. The successful candidate will work on the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Tender quality submissions. Duties include, but are not limited to: Reviewing web portals for PQQ/Tender opportunities Analysing PQQ/Tender for viability; Creating/updating PQQ/Tender information on company IT systems Preparing written responses to PQQ/Tender questions Liaising with internal and external parties to obtain information for submissions Managing the clarification and RFI process; Proof-reading colleagues work Preparing PowerPoint presentations for client interviews Creating/updating the pre-construction library/standard marketing information Attending site visits and participating in PQQ/Tender interviews Qualifications Desirable Degree level qualification ideally within a construction related discipline. Experience Essential Previous experience in a similar role Strong written and oral communication skills Strong IT and creative presentation skills Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales Time management and prioritising workload Ability to work on own initiative Team player Desirable Previous experience in the construction industry What’s in it for you?
