You will be joining a design and build contractor based in Shropshire operating nationally within the water industry. This established contractor has a strong pipeline of work with multiple high-profile water authorities across the UK and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard an Electrical Pump Engineer to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position based across the UK.
As an Electrical Pump Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and commissioning pumping stations, both private and adoptable, to the relevant water authority specification
- Attending customer sites to carry out site surveys, with detailed reports to assist in preparing proposals for refurbishments
- Servicing and maintaining pumping stations
- Installing, repairing and testing pump and control equipment to ensure compliance with company and manufacturer standards
- Attending customer sites to complete fault-finding, installation, maintenance, repair and testing of industrial pumping stations and equipment.
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Experience in installing, fault-finding, testing and repairing pumping stations
- 18th Edition or equivalent qualification
