We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to take charge of the delivery of all electrical, mechanical, and associated maintenance services across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for a former military professional looking to bring their leadership, organisational skills, and technical acumen into a civilian role within a dynamic facilities environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring service delivery meets contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain effective control over supplier and labour costs, contributing to the achievement of financial targets.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver services professionally, on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant site audits, including quality assurance, health & safety, environmental, and financial standards.
- Provide accurate management reporting and submit timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Act as the first point of contact for service escalations, ensuring swift and effective resolution of issues.
- Support the continuous improvement of processes through root cause analysis of recurring issues.
- Encourage and implement best practice across Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards (QHSE).
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers, ensuring effective use of resources and workforce development.
What Weβre Looking For:
- Strong technical knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Project management experience is desirable, though not essential.
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, ideally in a supervisory or team leader capacity.
- Capable of managing operational spend and resource planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems commonly used in engineering environments.
- Background in military engineering or facilities management is highly valued, with the ability to apply structured thinking and problem-solving under pressure.
