IN2 Consult have an opportunity for an Interim Financial Accountant to work with a market leading client of ours, initially as a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will have strong experience of owning the P&L and balance sheet preparation process as well as having good knowledge of IFRS 16.
The duties of the Interim Financial Accountant role include:
- Prepares statutory financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensures accurate recording of financial transactions and maintains the general ledger.
- Conducts regular reconciliations and supports month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Liaises with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and financial reviews.
- Provides financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making by management.
The successful Interim Financial Accountant will:
- Be fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Have strong technical accounting knowledge
- Have sound knowledge of IFRS
