If you join us as an MOT Tester, here’s what you need to know:
- Salary: £15.80 per hour + bonus
- Location: Peterborough
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 42.5 hours/week, 5 days over 7
Role Purpose
As an MOT Tester, you will uphold our commitment to road safety by conducting thorough MOT tests in strict adherence to DVSA regulations. Your role is vital in ensuring vehicles meet safety and environmental standards, contributing to community well-being. You will also assist with vehicle preparation tasks such as PDI inspections, maintenance, repairs, and stock processing. You should be confident in delivering Outstanding Customer Service, possess strong analytical skills, and support business improvements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- 4+ years proven experience as a technician in the motor trade
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Desirable:
- DVSA accreditation as an MOT Tester
- Experience as an MOT Tester in a reputable facility
- Knowledge of MOT regulations, diagnostic skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and ongoing professional development
