The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
An automotive client of ours is looking to add an Aftersales Buyer to the team. It is an energetic environment which is going through positive transformational change. Experience in an automotive market is a bonus but not essential, however someone with experience in a manufacturing environment would be a huge advantage.
This role is an urgent requirement so relevant CVs will be called back immediately.
Responsibilities- Liaise with customers to take order requirements and source these through existing suppliers.
- Maintain & manage price lists.
- Ensure effective working capital control and management of inventory levels to control turns.
- Order book management/scheduling in-line with inventory & MRP recommendations, provide supplier with forecast material demand where possible to achieve a consistent material flow & avoid backorders.
- Be aware of department KPIs and work towards targets.
- Cost reduction/avoidance.
- Validate and place orders daily using MRP & inventory policy reporting etc.
This is a fast-paced environment that will require someone who can work at pace and enjoys a level of autonomy.
