A leading Marketing and Events agency group is looking for an experienced Business Development professional to join their sales and new business team. This leading UK agency comprises multiple agencies under one roof and offers a range of services covering Events, Experiential, Digital, Analytics and Public Relations. They work with a stacked portfolio of iconic global clients in Technology and Retail and have won many awards for their work in recent years. They specialise in working with large corporate clients with potential for growth and have enjoyed an encouraging first half of the year due to growth of these existing accounts. The team here is ambitious and the agency operates as an Employee owned trust, so profit is shared and staff are rewarded properly for their contributions to the growth of the business.
This is an important role for the business as it embarks on a new growth plan. The successful candidate will report directly into the Sales Director and will be tasked with helping to spot opportunities within existing accounts as well as helping to identify and secure entirely new prospects. It's a role that offers a lot of autonomy but also plenty of support, is well incentivised and also offers excellent scope for further progression towards director level.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have prior experience in a new business role within a marketing, PR or Events agency
- Have prior experience attracting or growing large corporate accounts
- Experience targeting clients in the Retail or Tech sector will be advantageous
- Have secured deals in excess of £100k in value
- Be interested in a long term opportunity where you can grow with a business and ideally take on a more senior team role.
