Central Employment are working with a scaling eCommerce Interiors challenger brand, as they look to expand their in-house Marketing team. They have a new role for a highly creative eCommerce Social Media Executive, operating from their Teesside HQ. FT office based in Teesside. Circa £28,000-£35,000 DOE. The opportunity to make a recognised impact on the company's Social Media activity.

Responsibilities of the eCommerce Social Media Executive:

  • Develop and curate compelling content across various social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with the brand's messaging and target audience.
  • Oversee and manage all social media accounts, including profile settings, content publishing, and community engagement.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries, building relationships with followers and addressing any concerns.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the overall social media strategy, aligning it with business objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Monitor brand mentions and sentiment, taking action to address any negative feedback or misinformation.
  • Provide regular reports on social media performance, communicating insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Experience required:

  • Circa 3+ years in dedicated Social Media experience, ideally gained from the Homeware/Interiors/Fashion sectors.
  • A strong understanding of social media marketing principles, best practices, and relevant tools.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging and visually appealing content, including writing, photography, and graphic design.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify key trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and their respective features and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple social media campaigns and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution.
