We’re looking for a Back-end Engineer at Kiln. We are maintaining about 26 protocols. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Building the product: You’ll be working closely with the Product and Infrastructure teams to plan, architect, and implement our core product. You’ll take part in the construction of the roadmap with the rest of the team. This includes:
- Development of data aggregators for blockchains
- Development of new Golang microservices within the Kiln stack
- Taking part in automation & deployment processes
- Framework development
Our stack: Mostly in Golang with a bit of JavaScript and TypeScript. Communication between services is done using HTTP Rest, and most of our databases are backed by PostgreSQL. Everything runs in Kubernetes on GCP.
Preferred experience:
- Strong communication skills both in French & English to facilitate the design of scalable architectures with SREs. French can be a "nice to have" if you have several professional web3 experiences.
- Golang (over 1 year of experience)
- Over 4 years of experience designing, building, and deploying user-facing, infrastructure-related, and/or API-based products (Python, PHP...)
- Experience coding in JavaScript and TypeScript is a plus
- Experience working with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration is a plus
- Familiarity with GCP is a plus
