About the Role:
We're looking for reliable, detail-focused individuals to join our clients Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) team working at our vehicle compound. You'll be handling brand-new cars fresh off the ship, carrying out inspections and basic checks before they head to dealerships across the UK. This is a hands-on role that involves working outdoors in all weathers, so you'll need to be happy to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual checks on brand-new vehicles for any damage, marks, or transport-related issues
- Carry out basic functional tests (e.g., lights, wipers, horn, fluid levels, tyre pressure)
- Record inspection findings accurately using handheld devices or paperwork
- Move vehicles safely around the compound as required
- Ensure vehicles are clean and meet quality standards before delivery
- Report any faults, damage, or missing items promptly
- Follow all health & safety and site procedures at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK driving licence (with minimal points) - essential
- A good eye for detail and high standards of work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
