Overview

I am seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead daily operations for a food manufacturing business. The company has four UK sites and are looking to expand with a 5th in the next couple of years. Primary responsibility is to ensure efficient production and high quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all factory operations to meet production, quality and delivery targets
• Plan and schedule daily/weekly workloads and monitor KPI performance
• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency gains and waste reduction
• Manage and develop the production team, ensuring clear communication and accountability
• Oversee stock control, raw materials usage and inventory accuracy
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
• Maintain factory equipment and support audit readiness
• Control production costs and report operational performance to senior management

About You

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or Factory Manager in food/drink manufacturing or FMCG
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams
• Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP and manufacturing processes
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with good planning and organisational ability
• Experience with ERP / stock systems preferred
