Do you have 3+ years Enterprise new business experience selling software, services, IT or other business solutions into Public Sector?
We are currently working with a leading UK SaaS company that provides HR, Payroll and Financial SaaS solutions and has been experiencing consistent growth over many years. This major provider has a reputation for quality, working with over 1500 UK companies and some of the biggest household names, offering an award-winning portfolio.
This role is to work within one of their most successful teams focused on Enterprise Public Sector clients including Higher Education, Local Authorities and Central Government.
They are looking for a driven sales professional with a passion for consultative selling and value-based solutions. You will need to have experience selling into Public Sector organisations and be responsible for self-generating and managing a robust pipeline to drive new business sales, ensuring an accurate forecast, and successfully closing high-value deals at board level.
The public sector team is hugely successful and the top performing team in the business, with the top achiever in the team last year earning £300k. AOVs can be anywhere from around £250 - £3m, so you will need to be experienced in closing high value deals with longer, complex sales cycles.
You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and be responsible for self-generating and managing a robust pipeline to drive new business sales, ensuring an accurate forecast, and successfully closing high-value deals at board level, whilst also being supported by SDR resource.
A solid understanding and experience of selling high value solutions into the public sector and knowledge of Public Sector procurement methods is essential.
A proven track record in application, solution, and service sales into Public Sector organisations, including Higher Education, Local Authorities, and Central Government.
Proven experience of managing long sales cycles of 6 - 18 months.
A consultative sales approach, focusing on value-based solutions for new name prospects.
Experience with CRM systems for prospect management and pipeline tracking.
